President's Report
· Member news: Steve Howard's 66 is the January picture on the Twitchy Digit Chevelle calendar, Joe Hubka started a new job installing electronics in NE State Patrol cars, Harvest Valley Foods provided a good deal on the pulled pork we have at this meeting.
· Thank you to all past officers for all their work for the club
· Rich Cummings will produce the newsletter and maintain the club website, serving as a director of communications for the club.
· Contact cards - a volunteer is needed to print the cards, anyone interested to see Bob Von Kaenel.
· Drag strip in Lincoln: Greg Sanford paid UNL to do an economic impact study. A strip would mean about $10 million a year to the Lincoln area (this is the equivalent of 2 home Husker football games). A county task force is studying the proposed strip and a report is due 3/1/07.
· World of Wheels - working on getting 7 cars in a club display, as of 2/4/07 2 people had committed to show their cars.
· Possible club car show - Flashbacks in Omaha would be available as would the Lincoln Public Schools parking lot by Bob's bagel shop

Other information: Bob Von Kaenel has a catalog from Hot Rod Hardware (many garage items etc.) and a schedule for the Mid America Motorplex in Glenwood IA.
