Meeting was held after a tour of Bernie Tahlberg's car collection in Omaha NE.

President's Report
· The Nebraska Corvette Association has invited the club
to participate in a cruse they are having to Syracuse NE to tour
a Corvette Collection on Saturday 5/12/07. This collection has
a lot vintage Corvettes. Contact Bob V if interested (Bob will
send out an Email with details of the cruse & tour).
· Supply of club apparel is getting low; Cathy V is in
charge of the apparel. If you need any apparel contact Cathy.
· Next meeting will be Sunday 5/20/07. A mini car show
at Don Stoltenberg's for members and friends. Don will provide
the meat and side dishes are pot luck. There is no entry fee.
Don is doing a poster and will provide a trophy. Lunch will
be at 3:00 and a trophy will be awarded at 4:30. A motion was
made for the club to provide beverages, dash cards, and dash plaques,
total cost $100; the motion was seconded and passed.
· Nebraska Wesylen University is raffling off a Harley
Davidson Fat Boy as a fund raiser to install sprinkler systems
in University housing, drawing will be next week and tickets are
$10, see Rich C if interested.
· Tangier Shrine Car Show is on 6/3/07
· The motion passed at the prior meeting to provide a $24
credit is rescinded, since it did not comply with the club's bylaws
for amendments and ten days notice.
· The following was sent to members with the agenda of
this meeting providing the 10 days notice; "It is proposed
that, (beginning in 2008) members who enter their car in the Heartland
Chevelle Club's display at the World of Wheels show be offered
a free Heartland Chevelle Club T-shirt and hat. Also, members
who help in both the set-up and tear-down of the display be granted
the same benefit." This motion was made during the meeting
and seconded. A vote of members present and those voting via
email or phone calls was taken, the motion failed 10 to 9.
No further business and the meeting
was adjourned.
