President's Report

· Member news - Doug & Linda Kass had their 35 wedding anniversary on 9/9.
· Some Team Chevelle members have asked to buy club T-shirts, hats etc.
· Bob V has contact cards for any one interested in the club.
· Future car show - Chuck Hansen has not been contacted, Bob will contact him before the next meeting. Flashbacks would provide some money for adverting.
· The Waverly VFW is not available for the November Holiday Party. The party will be held at Doug & Linda Kass's in Omaha.
· A club outing on 10/24 to Mark Pelock's car collection in Syracuse NE. This collection is in a new facility with a museum quality building and a fenced secure area for anyone driving a classic car. The collection has several rare Corvettes, 40 Camaros and 3 Chevelles. Some of these cars are very low mileage. Bob V will send an email with more information about this outing.

Vice Presidents Report

· World of Wheels 2008 the club will be able to have twice the space as in prior years. Would like to put together a power point presentation of pictures and use a 4x8 sheet of plywood to display 1/64 scale cars.
· A new product is available from NPD called "Plug & Chug." This is a cup holder that fits in place of the ashtray and are available for 64-72 Chevelles. This is a direct fit for some years, but may require some trimming of the Plug & Chug to fit, The cost is $35.95.
· Car events: Cruising Main Street - Platsmouth 10/5 informal car show, but is very good. Swap meet - Lancaster Event Center Lincoln (North 84 Street) 11/24.
· Ultimate Racing may provide a discount to club members.

Other Items

· A motion was made to reimburse Bob Von Kaenel for the food for this meeting, a total of $95. The motion was passed.
· A motion was made to spend $250 on the November Holiday party (the same budget as last year). The motion passed.

No new nominations were made at this meeting nor were any emails received by officers. Greg declined the nomination for President. Since the officers were all unopposed, the nominees are the 2008 officers for the club.
