The meeting was presided over by Rich Cummings, President.
Old Business:
· Introductions of members, officers & guests
· Secretary's Report, by Rich Cummings February SAC Museum Meeting
· Treasurer's Report - Bob Von Kaenel, Deposits for dues & merchandise sales $976.50 since the prior meeting. Current balance $1,823.40. Costs of stanchions for Worlds of Wheels show of $249.75 were presented and a resolution to reimburse Dave Dietz was passed by the membership. Newsletter costs of $48.84 were presented and a resolution to reimburse Rich Cummings was passed. An additional resolution to allow newsletter costs to be paid from the clubs account was passed.
· VP Report - Steve Howard. World of Wheels show. Dave Dietz made the stanchions, Tom Pelchat made and donated the club banner & signs for each car. Jim Cleary helped with the step up of the club area. Steve Howard organized the club's participation and the layout of the cars. The possibility of joint outings with the Pontiac and/or Camaro Clubs was discussed.New Business:
· Discussed distributing the Quarterly Newsletter via email and it was decided to allow individuals to opt out of receiving hardcopy Newsletters. Rich Cummings will maintain a list of who wants to receive email versions.
· The member roster has been updated.
· Examples of embroidered caps were provided by Randy Rademacher, he can provide the caps for around $12.
· Merchandise the club has available is: jackets, ball caps, mugs, T-shirts (long & short sleeves) and stocking hats. A new supply of T-shirts needs to be ordered. A silkscreen printer for the shirts needs to be found, any suggestions for changes to the shirts or for a printer need to go to a committee appointed (Bob Von Kaenel, Dave Dietz, Steve Howard and Randy Rademacher).
· Suggestions for additional content in the newsletter were to add significant events for members such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, etc.
· Future meetings will be the 3rd weekend of the month and alternate Saturday and Sunday. Some meetings may be late afternoon or evening times to accommodate members that work weekends. There are meetings that still need a host member.
· Member news - Ed Corey's 68 was heavily damaged in a fire and can use help from other members. Greg Swim is selling his 69.
· Car shows - 6/3 to 6/5 Chevellabration in Nashville, 8/6 & 8/7 ACES Midwest Regional in KC. Members who attended these shows in the past have had a very good time.
· Name tags at meetings for members and guests to allow people to get to know each other.
· Door Prizes winners: Linda Liston - calendar, Steve Howard - zip ties, Cathy Morin - calendar, Greg Swim - toy car, Ron Liston - set of speakers, Andy Van Middelkoup - Electrical Connectors, Jim Cleary - zip ties, and Scott Hill - key ring.
