Secretary’s Report: Recap of minutes of May meeting.

President’s Report:

Guest Speaker - Mike Ostansky from Images2art.com The company makes collages of cars. Samples were shown at the meeting. These consist of photography and graphics and highlight details about the car. Prices vary by size and number of images. The company’s website is www.images2art.com Mike held a drawing for a free collage that was won by Dave & Jackie Dietz.

Lighter Than Air Balloon and car show update: Mike V met with Iowa Western Art Dept. and flyers have been made up and they will be distributed to members. The show is August 20 (Saturday) and Friday night we plan to stuff goodie bags and will need volunteers the day of the show.

Chevell-Abration: Dave D., Steve H., Jim C., Bob C. & Bob V. all attended. Attendance was down from prior years. Two members won top 3 awards.

Activities Committee: Still needs another volunteer to plan non-meeting outings for the club. Some ideas are a picnic, holiday party, and a fall cruise.

Newsletter: Matt is working on the next issue and hopes to have it our in about a month.

Midwest Chevelle Regional - Wichita KS Rich C. is attending and Steve Howard may.

Mid America Chevelle Regional - Olathe KS August 5-6 members registering for the show need to include Heartland Chevelle Club affiliation on the application. Club with the most participation wins a cash prize (we have won this in past).

New Products: Rich brought a new Craftsman tool box he uses to store cleaning products and other items used at car shows.

Member News: Steve Howard’s son graduated from high school this spring, Rich Cummings is an uncle, Tom Pelchat’s wagon will be on the cover of an upcoming issue of Chevelle World.
