Introductions of members and guests. We have a new member Chuck Leonard with a 66 and J D Stewart was visiting with a 72.

 

Secretary's report - summary of the prior meeting minuets

 

Treasurer's report - checking account balance $978.

 

President's report:
· August 14 is Firth Fun Days with a parade at Noon. Firth is about 30 miles south of Lincoln.
· An activities committee was formed with Rich Cummings, Tom Pelchat and Doug Kass
· Possibly a holiday dinner - Mahoney State Park is one possible spot
· Permanent Nametags with logo in corner, name and car picture. A motion to purchase materials was passed. Rich will make examples, purchase business card stock. Greg Swim will work up examples.
· A motion for an agenda item was added to the August meeting for a vote to amend bi-laws to add the VP position was passed.
· A motion to nominate officers at the August & September meetings and vote at the October meeting was passed.

 

Chevellabration Report - Steve Howard received a top 3 in the 66 stock class. Everyone had a great time, over 300 cars attended. A lot of people to meet and make friends.

 

Shows:
· Mid America Chevelle Regionals in KC. We would like as many members to attend as possible and to possible win the award for the largest attendance by a club. Everyone always has a good time at this show with a cruise and a barbecue.
· All Chevy Show at H & H Chevy in Omaha. 300 cars are expected. They are looking for a mid 60's Camaro or Chevelle to purchase to restore.
· July 11 Platters Car Show in Gretna

 

A motion to purchase a cart for the stanchions for up to $75 passed.

 

Bob Von Kaenel's birthday was 6/19/04 (the meeting date).
