Secretary's Report: Highlights of the prior meeting.

 

Treasurer's Report: Current balance of $1,036.

 

President's Report: Activities Committee - 2 events being planned (these are social events and not meetings. A cruse to Louisville area Sunday 9/26 with a picnic to follow, costs for the food would be $5 per person, $10 max per family. The cruise would start from Omaha and Lincoln and meeting in Cedar Creek and would take rural roads and last about 45 minutes. The other event would be a holiday party in January.

 

Permanent nametags are in process. Greg Swim will make up the tags.

 

Bylaws are being updated to include the duties of the Vice President.

 

Nominations for club officers will be taken during the Aug & Sept meetings. Election will be at the Oct meeting. Members can nominate/vote by proxy. The club has four positions President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.

 

Golden Chevelle Award - the person has it nominates and hands out the award to next winner.

 

Apparel Committee - shirts have been selected and pictures will be available on the website. Long & short sleeve shires in black, gray & white; button down collar shirts in black and khaki; and a polo shirt will be available as well as caps.

 

Summer newsletter any additions send to Rich.

 

Aug 8-9 Midwest Chevelle Regional in Kansas City, 8 members are going. Anyone else, please include that you are with Heartland Chevelle Club with registration.
