Treasurer's Report: Current balance $1,800, the membership renewal for the Car Council was paid.

President's Report

· Member news - Greg Swim had back surgery and is now back to work and felling better. Bob Von Kaenel was diagnosed with prostrate cancer, this was caught early and prognosis for recovery is very good. Rich Cummings obtained original paperwork for his 65 SS, the documents came from the salesman who sold the car new. Rich got the protectoplate, warranty documents, owner & shop manuals and the original purchase documents. David Kass just purchased a new house. Mark Kimball is soon to be a new Grandpa.
· Saturday 4/19/08 tentatively scheduled for a tour of Gary Kuck's car collection in Lincoln.
· Car Show - Flashbacks is interested and will provide some advertising money. Their lot will hold about 150 cars (84th & Center in Omaha). We will need a committee to organize this event. Bob V will send an email for volunteers to serve on the committee.
· Website additions - It is proposed to provide space for member businesses/endeavors - a list of names and what they do. This is not intended as advertising, but to provide networking information. Information would be added if a member requests. The proposal passed. An additional possibility would to offer space to local businesses in exchange for discounts to members.
· Chevellabration is June 5, 6, & 7 in Nashville TN
· Midamerica Chevelle Regional in Olathe KS is August 1 & 2
· Lincoln Swap Meet is Sunday March 9 at State Fair Park.

Vice Presidents Report

· World of Wheels 2008, March 28, 29, & 30 set up on the 27th. The club will be able to have twice the space as in prior years. A power point presentation of pictures, Greg has a CD of Chevelle Ads that will be part of this presentation. Members can also contribute photos by sending them to Greg. The club would like to have an example of each year Chevelle 64-72, still need to line up a 66, 71 & 72. Members can come and help setup, hand out information even without a car entered.
· Tom Pelchat can do vinyl signs and can make up T-shirts for participants if they are interested (outside of the club and paid by the individual). Tom can also make covers for show signs for costs and a small fee.

Next meeting will be March 15, 2008 at Doug & Linda Kass's in Omaha.
