Heartland Chevelle Club Meeting Notes
February 7, 2004
Strategic Air and Space Museum

The meeting was called to order shortly after 2pm.

· President Rich Cummings presided.
· 2004 dues were discussed, 22 renewals have been mailed in, 4 more were gathered at the meeting.
· A display of current diecast Chevelles available to members was provided by Rich Cummings.
· Election of 2004 officers is not complete, a report will follow soon from the president.
· The topic of 2004 activities were briefly discussed with no specific action taken.
· The club has receive a letter of invitation to the LaVista Days show in LaVista, NE. It falls on the same weekend as Chevell-Abration.
· It was confirmed that by an e-mail vote approval, the $40 cost for placing an ad in the Car Club Council show/swap meet book was paid and renewing our membership in the Council was paid. $10 fee was also paid to the Car Club Council for 2004 dues.
· Discussion of the Car Club Council scholarship program was made.
· Discussion of the upcoming World of Wheels show March 12-14 was made. Steve Howard is coordinating the club participation in this show.
· Three stocking hats were sold.
· A total of $662.00 in deposits were presented to Bob Von Kaenel, treasurer.
· A treasurer's report was provided by Bob Von Kaenel.
· Discussion of outings connected with the Lincoln Rib Fest and Wheezetones concert was made.
· Door prizes were awarded:

· Calendar (donated by Rich Cummings) - Ron Liston
· Stocking hat (donated by HCC) - Dave Kass

· A new member, Bob Markworth was welcomed and joined.
