Secretaries Report: Highlights of the prior meeting.

Treasurer's Report (by President): Balance of account $1,100. $11.50 has been spent for materials for name tags.

President's Report:
· Activities committee planning two events, a cruise on 9/26/04 starting in Omaha and Lincoln, last about 45-60 minutes ending at Tom Pelchat's in Cedar Creek costs for food will be $5 per person or $10 per family. The other event will be a holiday party in January 2005.
· Name tags are being done by Greg Swim, plastic sleeve to hold tag with name and car picture on the tag.
· Car Club Council wants clubs to assist with logistics for "Cruise Nebraska" in July 2005. This is a 3 day event and covers 300 - 400 miles and is open to 72 and older cars. The cruise will either start or end in Lincoln. Detail planning will be in Feb. We could possible provide mechanical support.
· H & H show had 375 cars (June 04). H & H makes donations to car clubs, they discuss this in January each year.
· Next car show is the Last Fling Til Spring in West Point 9/19/04. Entries need to be mailed to Rich deadline first week of September. Make checks to Road Gems.
· KC Regional Show: Two new members, Dave Winberg from Sioux City (71 Malibu) and Larry Sebranek from Wisconsin. The club award for the most participation with a $100 prize. The following members all won awards at the KC show:

Rich Cummings 971 pts, 65 SS and Nitrous Works nitrous kit (door prize)

Vice President's Report:
· Stanchions cart is in process
· Apprarel Committee there has been problems with the silkscreening from Artfax. A kahki dress shirt will be offered.

New Business:
· The club will send a thank you to the Midamerica club for the KC show.
· 2005 Chevellabration June 9 - 11 in Nashville area. The show will coincide with fan fare in downtown Nashville. Anyone thinking of going should get hotel reservations NOW!! even if only thinking of going.
· Nominations for officers: Rich Cummings - President, Steve Howard - Vice President, Dave Dietz and Bob Von Kaenel - Treasurer, Doug Kass - Secretary. Also an election committee will be set up. Nominations will be taken at the September meeting or by proxy to a current officer.

· Bob Chvala had knee surgery is back on his feet
· Ryan Howard is getting married in December 2005
· Tom Pelchat has a baby due 12/25/04
· Chris Dietz is graduating from WyoTech in the fall
· Bob Von Kaenel is getting married in October 2004
· Jim Clary purchased a 65 from Randy Rademacher
