4/17/04 Meeting Minutes

Old Business
· Introductions of members and guests.
· Secretary's report - summary of the prior meeting minutes.
· Treasurer's report - $49 spent for supplies, $250 to
reimburse Dave Dietz (stanchions), current account balance $1,531.02.
· President's report - the club now has 43 members. Past
newsletters are now available on the club's web site (all except
the most current).
· VP Report - Apparel Committee want items to be consistent
colors, hats black & orange. The hats will be embroidered,
T-shirts colors black, white & gray, and a fall/spring jacket.
ArtFax in Lincoln did the prior items; Rich received a letter
from a Team Chevelle member from Colorado that does silk-screening
and will do the work for the club. A motion was made and passed
to purchase the inventory that Greg Swim had purchased, approximately
$100 in remaining inventory. Another motion was made and passed
to add Greg Swim to the Apparel Committee.
New Business
· Activities - The Pontiac & Camaro Clubs wanted to
do joint activities with the club. The possibility of an activity
was discussed and Steve Howard will get contacts to Rich to pursue
this with the other clubs.
· Car Club Council books - Rick Lambert may have them,
the Council meets monthly. Rich will see if any are still available.
· Members Jeremy Mitchell wants to detune the engine on
his 69 and is looking for assistance and Ed Corey could use help
finding parts to repair his 68 damaged in a fire.
· The next meeting will be hosted by Scott Hill at the
Harley Davidson dealership on West Maple Street (approximately
172 & Maple). Bob Von Kaenel will host June meeting.
· Mike Dietze won door prize of a bucket of restoration
paints.
