Heartland Chevelle Club has a good "Showing" in Olathe, KS (August 9-11, 2002) at the ACES Mid America Chevelle Regionals.

The HCC had good attendance at the Mid America Regionals with 5 cars and 6 members in attendance. We also picked up a new member at the show so really we had 6 cars and 7 members attend. Six of the seven member cars took home awards and almost everyone took home door prizes. Some folks took home multiple door prizes.

Here are our members' cars that attended the show. I failed to get a photo of our newest member's car however. Sorry Terry!

Bob V's race-ready '70 sports the most aggressive look of our bunch!

Bob C's '66 is an excellent restoration! Bob bought this beauty new! Lots of history here.

Dave's LS6-spec '70 looks great and with 4.11 gears is a beast on the street.

Doug's '71 looks mild but packs a warmed over 454 and is a great cruiser with air!

Fred's drop-top is a crowd pleaser where ever it goes.

Rich's L79 in full show stance. He brought home judging sheets with scores of 99 and 98.5 out of 100!

You can bet your Chevelle many of us and more will return next year. The MidAmerica Chevelle Club put together a nice function! Look for Bob C's car to appear in a future edition of the ACES magazine Chevelle World since Chuck was there and snapped some pictures of Bob's car for the magazine!
